A daily brushing is best for the coat. If not daily then at the least a weekly brushing is a must. Norwich coats should be stripped off as soon as the coat becomes dead. You simply strip it off with your fingers once the coat is blown or dead. It is possible to find a groomer that will strip them for you, but most groomers want to clipper them as itís a lot faster for them. If you can find someone to strip them for you then be prepared to pay more for their services. A stripped coat will stay nicer much longer than a clippered coat. So if you choose to clipper the coat for the difference in price it might be false economy on your part. They can be clipped but this will result in the loss of harshness and color of coat.
